Yes, that is exactly what I did. It seems to be on there pretty good, I've put the air mattress on and laid on it but I have not tried sleeping on it yet. It's holding the weight of all my gear with no problem but the coolers are also empty. I sure hope it holds up.

This is the carpet I used. It's lightweight, does not have a heavy backing to it so it's very easy to work with. They have it in a few colors but I think the Grey looks best. I found this to be cheaper than paneling at about .40/SqFt.

I put it up with 3M Heavy Duty Adhesive spray which works well but I have found that it does pull away at the bottom easily so I am going to use some kind of base board trim to hold it down.

A couple of new additions.

I picked up a Husky power tongue jack at an auction. It was open box but looked to be brand new and never installed. Hooked it up today and it works great, even has a remote key fob so I can hold my beer while I unhook the trailer.



And a few weeks ago picked up a new tow vehicle.....

the way you have the power cord run through the hitch pin ... thoughts of
several bad scenarios popped up, tight turn, finger hook for unlocking hitch
peels protective cover, also lifts latch bends pin ... those kinda things.
Just something to consider ...

No camping recently, trailer has been parked all winter. We seem to be getting a different season everyday here and with all this rain my grass is going to be a foot high by the time it's warm enough for the first cut.

One thing I noticed when looking at your photo of the new electro jack,
the way you have the power cord run through the hitch pin ... thoughts of
several bad scenarios popped up, tight turn, finger hook for unlocking hitch

Thanks for the advice, that hitch pin with the loop came with the trailer and when I picked it up at the factory that is how the guy routed it so i just always did it like that. Although it is not usually around that side of the jack and under the hitch release as it is in that picture, it's just out of place from me moving it around when I took out the old jack and installed the new jack. I'll be sure to check it out next time I hook up.

Got a few things done this week to the trailer, first I removed the front window and put some butyl tape on to seal it better, I found there was water coming in over the winter. then i got some cabinets to put above the sink and also added some mini blinds to the windows. The brackets that came with the blinds don't seem to hold very well so my expectations are not very high on these. I think they are coming down on the first big bump i hit, but they were only $7 each. Next I want to build an upper shelf/cabinet in the top of the V nose above the bed.



I just went out to take that picture and found a puddle of water that seems to be coming from my water pump. I guess that will be the next issue to address.

Really looking nice. I was noticing the bungees and thought you may be using them to hold cabinet doors shut. Some ideas that worked for me. In any case, there are other types of baby locks also and they will keep cabinet door and drawers closed on the road. You can also find these types at Wal-Mart in the baby section.

I found these work well for the cabinet doors and can go across your knobs and hold then together also:

I did not get the floor installed this weekend as I wanted to but I did get my Multipurpose Platform finished.

Oh man I'm digging the "E" Track storage/racking system you came up with! Same with the carpeted walls - looks great and has to give a little bit of sound suppression. Thanks for sharing these ideas!
