One piece kitchen unit

Postby tandempair » Sun Jul 02, 2017 7:31 pm

Spent the last 6 months getting our house ready for the market, and now finally have time to focus on our CTC. When we visited our daughter in Hawaii, we stayed in an AirBNB and had a little one piece kitchnette thing. It had a small sink, 2 burner electric stove, a small rerig and a small cabinet underneath. It was all one piece. Pretty sue there was no special wiring. It just plugged into the wall. I can't remember what it was called, I am still digging around online. Has anyone used one of these in your conversion? If so what are they called and do you remember the price range and where you got your unit?

Thanks for the info. I was able to find a 4th of July sale. Free shipping. We ordered the 36 inch model, at a significant savings. The total weight is 108 lbs, so that will be good too. I will need to have a GFI plug where it will be plugged in, but the basic plug is already there. Will put in one of those pumping faucets, and put our 5 gal water jug underneath and another jug to drain water from the sink in. We are excited. We have spent the last few days, off and on, tossing around ideas for a kitchen. We wanted something really simple. Dont' want to haul an LP tank and all that. The simpler the better. This unit solves many issues all in one swoop. Glad we had the experience of actually using one for several weeks. The reviews all say the back burner is faster than the front burner. That is very true. It only took a day or 2 to figure that one out in our AIRBNB. If we are primitive camping we ll use our camp stove. Yay! Progress is actually being made. By the way would be the best way to secure it to the trailer? Maybe a 2X4 or something similar fastened to the studs and the unit attached to that? All this is still new to us and mechanical inclination, is not our gift.
