Starting to see Ice Castles and Yetti's?

Just back from Sturgis. Lots to see there but this one caught my eye first. .

I also saw one made by Yetti. I didn't get to talk to anybody who owns one, so I looked them up. Very interesting. I see they have " Shells" available.

Hmmmm.... This looks like it could be a new trend in Tn'TTTs. Pretty nice.
Hey old guys, Don't you just hate climbing those stairs to get in and out of your trailer?

I don't mind climbing in but I am tired of falling out in the morning!
Maybe not really a trailer related issue though?

As long as "Yetti" never includes a branded cooler as part of their packages and opens a crap storm of litigation. They will certainly benefit from Yeti's marketing efforts and big spender clientele.
Some day I will figure out something to put here. But for now....

Well, it's a little known fact that gravity is strongest in the mornings.
I fought the law, and the law won.
Gravity, it's not just a good idea, it's the law.

I like the idea of a box designed for northern ice fishing, assume it's got great insulation!

I would have thought so as well, but what I read stated R5 floor and R7 walls and ceiling.
:NC
I think I'm just really intrigued with the lift axle. Otherwise, it's just another trailer, right?

McDave, Howdy;

Happy to see you survived Sturgis, I like the thought of a "low-rider" style trailer but the thought
of another system to keep an eye on, deters me. I'm one for "keepin' it simple", read my signature .

Lots of the fish house / campers in my area. There are some companies that sell the rolling frames so the owner can build there own custom trailer.

The lift mechanism can be manual such as a lever, or hand winch. Or some are hydraulic lift.

Lots of 20,000 + dollar ice fishing houses on Lake of the Woods, Mn. In the winter!!

Links please? Or at least mfg names?

Looking for 7.5' by around 20'.

What's the big advantage(s) of the lift mechanisms?

I do not think that Yetti sells a frame only, but they do sell a shell trailer for the owner to finish. Im sure there are more, I found these quick.

Hey bc.
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. We surely can use all the help we can get. We got the worst of the fires in our area put down Monday, but there has been a lot of devastation. So many ranches were wiped out. Thousands and thousands of cattle and some horses were destroyed. I am sure the game herds took a huge hit as well. The whitetail deer population has had a tough summer anyway. We haven't had a rainfall since late April, and the only green you see is in the borrow pits along side the roads, so it is incredibly dangerous to drive especially from dusk to dawn, but they are too hungry to be shy so they are everywhere in the daytime as well. One of my lady biker friends hit a deer on her Harley Friday night. Amazingly she had very few injuries. She is 74 yrs old. She had slowed way down to about 60 mph and was being very cautious but one just panicked and bolted right into her. The deer was obliterated and the Harley looks bad but still runs fine and I rode it out of the ditch into the trailer and into the shop when we got back to town. I think we'll have to fix it. She's been riding that one since '91. It's an Electra Glide and she just loves it, so...
Anyways, we're all gonna have to just tough up a little more, but we'll make it. Thanks for your concern. It's not often people even hear about Montana.
