Alright BigDave,
That's a lot of progress and a darn nice home you're building there. Enjoy that.

Honestly I have been flipping pages on this site for more than a year and I don’t know what I am more excited about. The house being done or being able to empty my trailer and start building it.

Why choose? Just let the excitement happen! House is looking great by the way. Especially the garage. #biggarageeverymansdream
I installed the temporary power box on my property. I'm a little excited about that!

Let the change orders come rolling in, Lol building has been fun. Started a new career out of it, we close on two other homes this week that make mine look like a track home!!

What’s your floor plan look like?

Nice! I am also having to deal with a tall garage (12') and a matching roof line. But I bet you will love the basement windows being above ground.
My front and side elevations, 10' garage doors, 2,800 sq ft garage! Im excited. Been waiting a long time, I just hope I live long enough to see it finished.

Can you rotate your roof line? If you turn it 90% you can add bonus room or loft space

Now the real wait begins, figure out what my utilities are going to cost, insurance and so forth to run this house than I can decide what I can spend on the trailer. Until then I moved it back outside roger rained on and keep my garage nice and open.

Moved the dirt scooters today too

Looks like I am at the point to start this build process.

I have a start question. I am going to insulate but I am not sure if the floor holds the bottom of the walls in place?

If I epoxy then floor I don’t want to chip or fracture the floor to get the wood on the walls off!

I don't understand your second question but here's how I do my floors/wall joint:

The exterior wall skin is 1/4" ply. There's also a set of screws that goes through the skin horizontally into the floor. And of course it's all glued with PL Premium adhesive.

But there are a lotta different ways of doing it.
