To paint or not.

My cargo has a white roof from the factory. Would I still benefit from painting on the rv roof coating? Thank you.

Welcome to the site! Good to see you are putting us in your helper bucket right off. :thumbsup: , :thumbsup: .

Ask the manufacturer what they used to paint it with or if it is a coating form the mill where
the roofing material was made. Either way, you'll find out if it helps keep the heat out when
it turns warmer outside.

Paint, IMO.

These tin roofs conduct heat a lot, any resistance and reflectance will help

bete, Howdy;

I'd also paint but bear in mind that you'll need to prep the current surface.
By that I mean scuff sand it, clean off all the dust and clean completely with
acetone, mineral spirits or something compatible with the coating recommended
by McDave.
