furnace venting window proximity

Postby AKcargo » Fri Feb 09, 2018 9:26 am

I'm trying to finalize the layout of my interior, and I'm curious if there's any concern about proximity of furnace exhaust to windows. I'm guessing it will put out a fair amount of moisture, if it's underneath my window would this condensate or ice up my window from the outside in the cold? Or is the exhaust forceful enough to get out away from the trailer? I could put it out the front of the trailer, but I don't think I want it blowing on my propane tanks either. Thanks -Aaron

As long as your LP tanks aren't overfilled, no problem.

In fact in cold weather that will help keep your pressure up, in extreme cold people use electric heating pads for that exact purpose.

But I also think the other concern won't be an issue, we're not talking billowing steam and yes the exhaust is blown away.
