Looking for product suggestions. I have two externally mounted fluorescent lights in CTC with the standard 6' height. I am only 5'9" so I can walk under them without whacking my head (good to be short??). Still, I would like to replace them with some recessed LED's because I need the clearance to mount my bed support (more on this later). I have seen several CTC folks mount recessed LEDs and am asking if you could share product id, part number or whatever can point me to the right light. I will be using the existing wiring to power them and I am guessing about a little more than an inch of space to work with. Thanks.

You might Google: "Led Disc Light". They may work for you.

Here is a product I am ordering for my conversion. Have not received them yet.

12v-LEDlight Marine White Recessed LED Ceiling Lights - Easy to Install (screw free) Cabinet Counter Lamp Campervan Trailer 5th Wheel RV Truck Car Bus, 3w, Bright Natural White, Pack of 6 with Bonus $36.99 The reviews are good. 3 wat

Here are some easy switches I am looking to order as well... if that helps. The switches you just drill a hole to size and they pop in.

Yueton 12pcs Car Truck Rocker Round Toggle LED Switch On-Off Control, Blue, Green, Yellow, Red $6.99 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011U ... SCVJ&psc=1

Hope this helps. Also if you do the link on the lights it should suggest other similar products. Opps just noticed after posting 110 not 12v. Do a search and change 12v to 110 and see what comes up.

Update: here is a 110 4 PACK - 13W 5/6inch Dimmable LED Retrofit Recessed Lighting Fixture (=75W) 4000K Cool White Energy Star, UL, LED Ceiling Light - 965 Lumens Recessed LED Downlight $29.99 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N41GZD1/re ... This is what I used. They work great and I like them. The good thing about them is that they do not need much area/depth for recess. I used them in my kitchen and dinette area, but they would work well anywhere.

These are 12vdc, but if you do not have batteries or etc... you could buy a cheap 12vdc power supply that runs off 110 VAC and use that to run lights. You could pick up a relatively cheap one that will do more lights than you can run for about $20.00. You will be all wired in that case if you ever get a battery and converter for upgrade later. All my lighting is 12vdc, but basically runs from 110vac when plugged in via the converter which also charges the batteries.

Just something to think about. :-) Obviously, probably not what you need if you are hard set on using the same wiring.
