6x8 or 6x10 builds

Postby Iroll » Thu Mar 29, 2018 2:04 pm

Hi. I'm looking for some inspiration for a 6x8 build. Since most people don't go that small, I'm happy to look at 6x10 builds. Hoping to find some creative ideas for a small space. TIA!

The best conversion I've seen of that size is the 5' x 10' built by "pappaw". Unfortunately, the pics are gone, but the posts describe the conversion: http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=50728.

Yes, I came across this post in my search. Hard to get any idea without pictures.

Thank you!!
Going with a 6 ft wide option could allow since interesting configurations with the bed lengthwise across the width of the back wall.

For small cargo trailer conversions I've found it helpful to research Van rv conversions in addition to this site for ideas on making the best use of the small space

Yes, I’ve seen his. As a solo camper, I would not need that big table and all that seating. My bed will go across the back. I’m trying to find a build that maximizes storage, has a kitchen in the v-nose and looks nice. I’m not big on the raw wood and plastic drawer look. That’s just me. It will be my home so I want it to look like a small studio with defined spaces.

How tall are you?

I am not sure a bed will work for many in a 6' wide trailer across the back?

I’m 5’4”. The 6 wide will give me plenty of room across the width.
