I made some good progress and as long as it doesn’t snow more than a few inches at a time I’ll be camping in a few weeks!

Tired of shoveling snow so decided to keep testing out the Blackstone to make sure it will work well with the trailer. So far so good!

First off made a batch of shrimp fires rice. Made a double batch and that still wasn't enough for leftover.

Then I made some smash burgers. Double smash with grilled onions and cheese!

Then when you have leftover smash patties might as well make Loco Moco!

Added the last piece of bling around the stove. Can’t really tell in the photo but it is spaced 1” off the wall. Providing a heat shield and still allowing the vent behind to
do it’s job.

Installed a chunk of horizontal Etrack on the outside.this will be used for attaching the table legs for an outside table.

I’d like to find a stainless top, but so far I haven’t found what I want.

Since I leave next week I’ll cut a ply top for now.

Couple small mods today. Added a cargo net. Made a grate for the inside of the wood stove to get the wood up off the bottom. Put together the water jug holder for the e-track.

Great Idea! Going to do that too, if you don't mind my stealing your idea...

Go for it! That’s why we all share here.

I’m going to install another chunk on the other side up high.

Plan for that is to create an enclosure for shower, etc. and who knows what else.

Exactly what this little stove needed. Had a few hunks of expanded metal and this one was the perfect size. It won’t last long, but should work for a few seasons before burning out. It will make a big difference for the burn!

dirt swabby, Howdy;

I use the same material as a fire ring in a homemade smoker I worked up
from a Smoky Joe and a 32 qt. stock pot. Here's a good link to see what's what.
https://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?70309-My-build

Breaks down into components for travel. I can fit up to a 9.75# pork shoulder onto
the upper shelf and probably another onto the middle shelf. or could do a fair sized
brisket in 2 parts, or a few spatchcocked chickens.

Something like these?

Or maybe a Mini-ZA!!!

And we can't leave out the minitisserie!

I built my first Mini-WSM back in 2010. Wow 9 years ago!! At one point I had 6 total. Now I'm down to two bases and three pots. One normal pot. The Mini-ZA pot and my Minitisserie pot! I bought a 14" WSM a few years back at the end of summer when Walmart had them on sale for $59.99. It's my go to smoker now.

Dust swabby, Howdy;

Ya got a case of the zactleys :lol: . :thumbsup: , :thumbsup: !!!

2010 is about when I built mine. Went with a heavier duty stock pot
and a set of the Craycort grills that help with the heat-sink and keeping
a lower center-of-gravity.

Think a few more may hatch as a result of this conversation. :thinking:

RotoPax fuel container added. This is a 3.5 gallon tank. I also have a 1 gallon tank that I keep on my motorcycle. So if I don’t want the big tank I can use the little tank. There’s been a few times that having a little more fuel would’ve been nice. The RAV4’s 13 gallon tank doesn’t last long when towing!

And now that I have the generator I may need fuel for that too.

Never fails... I want wireless lights!

That’s the plug on the RAV4. Off to the hardware store at the eleventh hour.
