Karebru, Howdy;

Yer greedinslot is feathering into the symplonator... makes a terriable mess.
Best suggestion is put your tools away for now, and enjoy a cold barley pop or 3
an try it again tomorrow.

BUMP!
Well, I was able to log in... I guess I'm still a member after 4 months and a day.
I've been remodeling my sister-in-law's kitchen in my spare time. It was promised well before I ever started the camper.
I married into a good family just shy of 40 years ago and am happy to do it.
Finishing the camper is next.
Arthritic old(ish) farts can only do so much in a day, but I'll get there.
See you soon.

Wow! Great project. I was snooping for floor plan ideas for my own build and stumbled upon your log. Beautiful work. The a/c cabinet is genius! I love the barn look. My trophy wife would go for that for sure.

Something back on page 11 made me belly laugh...

Attaboy.

Then there was this...

Um... Hey... Y'all still there?
Talk about a hiatus!...

I'm still here. So is the camper... Unmoved... In the driveway.
I'm on the downhill side of a kitchen remodel and will have my weekends free again soon.
My truck is getting Firestone Ride-rite air bags installed on Thursday, (Decided to get a younger guy to do it.) and I just received 10 pairs of KV 8400 RV drawer slides for my cabinetry. The "RV" designation in an extra hold in mechanism for RV applications. I'll post a little review once they're installed.

Yeah, it's me again.
Hope everybody's healthy. I'm not sure how construction got lumped into "essential" but I'm still working. My wife is a hair stylist and she's shut down. Lots of unhappy, scruffy looking folks out there after two weeks.
:fb
Gainful side work is on hold due to "social distancing." My employment will go the same way soon if something doesn't change.
So... I'm actually working on my camper again.
I've been installing some of the trim and the AC is permanently mounted.

I still need to install baffles in the AC box, but it seems to cool things down nicely with the "out" grill removed. And yes, it's already hot here. We didn't really have a winter.

Y'all stay safe.

Looks great in there.
Luckily I've been working too. Automotive services. Most companies have been fixing thier fleets. Even got to fix a police car last week.

Hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday weekend.
I spent Memorial Day racing against the afternoon rain to get my drawer boxes lacquered.
The garage door came down with the first drops as I carried the last one in with it's final coat.
I let them dry for an hour or two, cracked a beer, and went back out in the evening to installed them.
The KV, RV slides seem like they'll do the job.
Finishing cabinet doors is next...

been working on a bunch of little stuff not worth posting about.
After going around and around about what to do for a backsplash on my goofy little sink cabinet, I ended up with this.
It's... "different." But I like the funkyness of the whole thing, and you can't go wrong with red, white, and blue.

Karebru, Howdy;

It's likeable, nailed it with this; " and you can't go wrong with red, white, and blue. "

Backsplash is nice, fits right in with the overall motif. But I still can't stop staring at that cabinet and sink. Love it.

Thanks guys.
I prep sanded all my doors and drawer fronts this morning. They're ready to spray. Now it's up to the weather dry up a little bit here in the swamp. I may have to break out the old halogen work lights to kill the humidity in the garage. I don't need the added heat but soggy season is here.
At some point, I'll have to crawl up underneath and strap up my plumbing. :NC She isn't road worthy until that's done.
I really don't want to let another fall and winter pass me by with the camper still in dry-dock. Even if it means a few things aren't completely finished. :vroom:
