Snowmobile trailer to toy hauler conversion?

Postby Achaleon » Tue May 15, 2018 6:13 pm

I have a new 7.5 X 23 enclosed snowmobile trailer that I bought to transport my atv and side by side. Ive been lurking here for awhile and am interested in turning it into a toy hauler for weekend atv/camping trips. Does anyone know of any snowmobile trailer conversions I can reference? Ive gotten a ton of great ideas from the build logs here but none of them have the front ramp like mine has.

This may have the info you want. Good luck.
Wookie97 built out a snowmobile trailer back in 2015.

Isn't it just an enclosed trailer? Perhaps the wheels are underneath instead of on the outside. If you have height (6'6"-7' min) for a side by side it's taller than what used to be sold as enclosed snowmobile trailers .
Post up some pics, and other dimensions please.

Yeah just an enclosed trailer. It's 6'5" high

That's a picture of what it will look like when it's done being built. I won't be getting it for another week yet.
It's 22' long without the 5' V nose. The total length of my atv and side by side is 17'
I'm mainly interested in seeing what other ppl did with the v nose. The door doesn't have to remain functional, I don't mind backing my machines out of the trailer

although I won't be building another trailer but if I did I like the idea of having the front drop down ramp like the rear one's, I think you could make a really unique design where the front kitchen area would have the ramp deck up front and have the inside outside area together.?

I use my rear ramp a lot for sitting outside like a deck so I could see using both one on the front and back.
I would really like to see someone build one like this ?
