Well I didn't get the fold out finished in time for this weekend's trip but I did manage to squeeze in making the front armoire which turned out to be a great benefit.ImageImageImage

Well we are back from the camping trip and I'm back at it! Here's an actual shot of my low tech roof clamping system in action!

Fun fact: I just realized today that these can pull double duty and be used for things like hanging a clothes line or some of those collapsable hanging storage shelvesImage

Starting with the end pieces it helps you tell if the room floor is levelled or not (see the gap)

The gap between the room and rear of the trailer I plan on closing off with an adjustable piece which should account for the room being unlevel.

We bought some carpets at IKEA last night on sale and couldn't resist trying them out! This will help as additional insulation for the room covering any gaps in the transition piece between the gate and rear of the trailer as well as around the walls. :)

Here's some shots of today's work. I took the roof back off so I could take down the support header.

I made cut outs on the backside of the header because the side panels were too tall to fit otherwise.

Now they slide right into place for storage!

I then finished paneling the wall and made some better end supports than what I had.

And this is my solution for the air conditioning ducting and closing off the top of the panel pockets.

It's a little hard to see but I made angled panels to cover the slots and still keep some height.

And the angled duct channel is pumping out some nice air! Should make the add-on quite comfortable.ImageImageImageImage

Here's looking out through the duct slot before the panel was added

It's getting thinner! I thought I was stuck when I found out my side panels weren't going to fit how I planned until I came up with this fix.
