Building our KISS Camper

Postby ibbuckshot » Mon Dec 17, 2018 10:50 pm

Greetings folks,
I have been having problems trying to post pictures and this may not work either. But here goes....I am attempting to post a requested picture of our 1932 Ford pick up
truck pulling our Casita camper back from the Tampa street rod nationals a few years ago....Our new build will be an ultra light ( all aluminum ) cargo conversion...I hope to follow up with a series of pictures of this build....here's hoping....
Have fun,
buckshot

That's got it Buckshot! Glad you stuck with it and figured it out.
What a sweet ride. 32' 5 window, SB Chevy ? and stacks in the bed, Crager SS mags, and on the Casita. Love the front end with the fenders that ride the wheels. Hard to have a bad day when you are driving that truck. Really, really nice. :beer:

McD, Howdy;

Yup, got a set of choppers that remind me of Mr. Ed, and wearing
a pair of Hammer Pants. Good voice Ill agree with that.

Yes, no fenders, 8) I am trying to keep the camper as aerodynamic as I can....The body of the trailer will reflect the same idea....After going through all of my drawings and designing I am hoping it will not be a flop.....If this thing pulls like a parachute it may be quickly up for sale......

Greeting folks,
Here are todays shots of the Kiss Camper build. Shots show the rear door and progress on the sides and roof line. I am hoping to be able to easily pull this with my little Chevy Somoma diesel as well as the 32 street rod....
Have fun,
buckshot

Rebar,
The work you see being done is by a company here in Ocala, Florida. The name of the company is Aluminum Trailer Group. They are building this going by my drawings. The company owner has offered a number of great suggestions...... After the "BOX" is done I will be bringing it home where I will be doing the interior work. I don't know where he buys his roof material.....
