I plan on attending the 2019 Golden Aspen Rally in Ruidoso, NM on Sept 18 2019. I will be hauling my Tri-Glide in the CTC from Phoenix. Looking for recommendations for a campground there from those that have been there. Need a campsite with electric hookup, no water required as I don't have the trailer setup for that. I see many, many campgrounds. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey phoenix,
I'm originally from NM but haven't been back there in over 25 yrs. I do still have some contacts with bikers in Albuquerque so I will try to reach out to them for some info for you. Not sure how current info will be as we are all getting older and things change. But I'll give it a try.

Appreciate it. I recalled you said you were from NM. There are just way too many campgrounds to choose from. Guess that's a good thing unless you end up with a bad one because you didn't know an better. We stayed at Custer Park/Game Lodge for Sturgis and it was perfect for the type of CTC we have. Already made reservations for this year.

phoenixbound, Howdy;

I may live in Southern NM, but have yet to go exploring over that direction.
I have had excellent luck in the past with this site;
http://www.campgroundreviews.com/region ... co/ruidoso
You can even get some overhead views to sight-see and get a 'feel' for the
place.
Wish I could give ya some better intell.
