What's wrong with this picture (other than the really dirty

Postby jwh92020 » Fri Apr 19, 2019 1:13 pm

This is the window in the 5 x 8 that I bought for a work trailer (that is going to morph into a small camper). It is a horizontal slider that some factory dork put in vertically (see the covered weep holes on the sides?) I got it for such a great deal, I'm not fighting my trailer guy on it. Any reason I can't open the window and drill holes in the bottom of the frame to let water escape? I'm leaving the weep hole inserts in place, pulling the window and sealing them from the rear. Holes at the bottom of the frame should let any water that gets in the frame out - correct?157981

In theory that would work.

Thanks. I'm hoping it is as simple as that.

jwh92020, Howdy;

... or .... you could get a vertical and then install the horizontal
properly oriented on the other side for some cross-ventilation :thinking:

I'd have to get 2 verticals. One vertical & one horizontal would upset my sense of balance.
