Hank - I averaged right at 12 mpg towing my 7 x 14 x 6'6" V nose pulling with a Ram 1500 Hemi. That is the only anecdotal info I have to offer. When I was pulling my 6 x12 x 6' flat front, it was closer to 15 mpg.

... and what was you mpg's when not towing??? As mentioned earlier, the
differences noted by folks on here are minimal between the 'V' nose and
the flat face. Then look at how the 6" flat chunk of steel effected my truck.
Pretty much same --- same. + 6" subtracts 3 mpg. I'm not saying this is gospel,
but it hums a purddy tune.

Hank - I get 17 - 20 depending on how heavy my foor gets.

jwh92020, Howdy;

Ok, now you've got almost as much info as the gubbermint does when they
print up those fuel mileage window stickers :) . Of course, there are variables
such as number of axles total finished weight but, ... you've got a good baseline
to work from.
