Glad ya enjoyed them.
While cleaning out the garage I found an old A.C.unit I had from the teardrop. While measuring it looks like this will fit in the bigger window I have.

Went camping over the weekend near skyline drive above Fairview , then yesterday afternoon a big smoke cloud drifted in from a local wildfire.
Tried to see if I could pick up any ranger station frequencies to see how far/close the fire was.
Then it started raining ash.
Decided to play it safe and bugged out early.

Beautiful scenery!

The water fall and pool of water below reminds me of the time about ten years ago when I was tent camping in the Appalachian mountains on a very hot day. Late in the afternoon I decided to lay in a pool of water below a nice little waterfall in order to relax and cool off. After a few minutes, I noticed very small fish periodically cascading down the falls. I also noticed something that appeared to be darting in and out of the falling water from both sides of the fall. As I focused, I saw that there were two snakes on either side of the waterfall trying to snatch the fish. Then, as I slowly but anxiously started to sit up in the pool, I noticed that I was surrounded by about a dozen snakes. I HATE snakes and nearly freaked out trying to scramble out of the water. I do not think I have laid in a pool of water out in nature since.

Thanks.
I've come across a rattler once, he was under some loose rocks by a few big boulders. He gave me plenty of distance to warn me , "dont walk near here".

Since we've had a few trips under our belts with this new trailer. The organization is getting better with each trip.

I've made one of the upper cabinets strictly for coffee stuff. I love my coffee in the morning and want it easy to make.
Mostly I get everything ready the night before. So all I have to do is slide down the bed and light the burner.
I usually sit/chill while it's cooking and enjoy the heat it puts off.

Made a video of the build awhile ago also.
Enjoy.

These are known to break with heavy loads.
I Also have airbag overloads on, which the airbag bracket is holding the leafspring together.
On the hunt for new springs now. Covid maybe limiting my options with availability.
Figures.

Luckily my neighbor is a leafspring guy.
He found me these 2.5" lift pro comp leafsprings.

Last weekend I started on replacing the leafsprings. I've heard that the front bolts were a nightmare and yes they were.

Soaked em good with pb blaster and used a torch to loosen up the lock-tight. While using a 2ft breaker bar, the socket slipped off smashing my hand into the drum. Pretty much passed out from the pain a short while later .
Luckily nothing is broken, just a good gash on the top of my hand.

Lesson learned.
Sometimes it's cheaper to pay a mechanic (with a lift) than to pay a hospital bill.

Got the jeep back today and it rides so nice.
Cant believe how rough those old flat springs were.
