New guy, new build

I ordered a 5x8 V nose, picked it up and started working on it.

Like it so far! Good combination of simplicity and possibility.

Looking good! Looks like you're setting up for off road. Any plans to remove the stock tongue jack? I put on a swing jack. Pinched the stock one a few times running through creek beds.

Yes, but just to get to remote campsites, no rubicon trail, but will be able to handle the Mojave Road. Good idea on the Swing jack. I checked out your build, very nice I might have to "Borrow" some of your other ideas ;)

Got two walls done, the carpet really gives it a "Finished" look.

Fabbed up some cross bars (too cheap to pay $200-$300 for some bars) and mounted a rack & awning
