Took my trailer on a 1500 mile round trip to the Duck Mountains Provincial Park in Manitoba for some fishing. Stayed at the Turtle Mountains Provincial Park on the way there and back. Spent 10 nights in it. I love how handy it is and how easy it tows.

All fish were released. ImageImageImageImageImage

Very nice setup. Congratulations on your trailer build and retirement... assuming you did retire based on earlier posts. Now it is time to enjoy the fruits of your labor!

I like the simple approach you took. I am working on a 7x16 twin axle and using a simple approach for hunting, fishing, and camping. I am adding a few conveniences but not many.

Well, Happy Halloweenie to all y'all!

Strongbow, you did it! You bought a 5' X 10, did some hard work and now you're using the trailer! and sleepin' like a baby in it.

How I envy you.

I started my 5' X 10' over two years ago... and still haven't camped in it yet... and I have no excuses because I live in southern Californy! Honestly, I can only give it about 10 hours per week it seems. I went a little farther and changed the suspension, buttered up a bunch of air gaps in the exterior aluminum skin where it meets the frame. The front of my trailer is curved using the same curved roof spars as the OG Wells Cargos did.

Anyhoo... I do see light at the end of this tunnel and should be camping in it in a month or two. I like the southwestern high desert in the wintertime and I like to plink tin cans w/ some of my cowboy rifles. I have a diesel heater ready to install once I start on the bunk layout. Been busy lately with the back door and getting it ready for panelling. I'm using birch ply throughout. blah blah blah. Hey! Whose thread is this, anyway?

Safe travels to you! and we'd like to see some updates if you have any.

I thinking my camping season is coming to an end. I was hoping to get one more trip out of it, but winter seems to be setting in.

My last outing ended last week, so I can't complain. I have 41 nights in it, and have pulled it a few thousand miles. Five total fishing outings, three hunting outings, and a couple misc nights, spread out in Minnesota, North Dakota and Manitoba.

I'll get a few pictures of the inside after I straighten it out a bit.

Here are a few of the places I've camped.

Here is the inside, currently. I did add a cell phone Amp so I could use my phone inside my camper in low signal areas. If I had a signal that is. The table drops down when I'm traveling.

It's nothing fancy, but functional. I spent 43 nights in it this year, from April thru October. I towed it over 5300 miles. I was hoping to get out one more time. Could happen. I sleep like a baby in it.

I keep it in the 3rd stall of my garage when it's not being used. Image
