When I was a child, my grandfather gave me his collection of Popular Mechanics, Popular Science, and Mechanix Illustrated magazines dating back to the early 50s. I read every one multiple times. I don't remember this one (IIRC, his PopSci subscription started around 1956), but the content brings back fabulous memories.
