Headed for Bonneville

Postby dguff » Wed Aug 10, 2011 8:25 pm

I am leaving for the Bonneville Salt Flats on Friday in my latest teardrop, the "Hillbilly Haven". Will be camping near Kevin A who was also the supplier of my corrugated roofing. Thanks Kev!

Yeah, check out my album. The brick red tear is the one I skinned over with the siding and roofing. I did not change the interior at all.

Jerome,

That is about one of the most awesome TD designs I've seen. It appeals to my hillbilly genes...big time.

What amazes me is how many old board/baton houses still stand after 100 years, so your rig should be good for about that long.

Got one suggestion. The rear roof is screaming for a "See Rock City" painted sign. That would be icing on the cake.
