DragonFly's Maiden Voyage

Postby sid » Mon Sep 24, 2007 8:07 pm

We spent Wednesday thru Saturday on Woods Reservoir in Tullahoma, TN. The DragonFly pulled great and we had a blast. Got in some kayaking and a little fishing.

Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Thanks to everyone for all the comments.

John, other than a visit by the racoons one night, a long paddle back into the wind one day, an afternoon nap in the recliner by the lake and a lot of great food, all was quiet and relaxing, so you couldn't ask for a better trip and the weather was perfect. Side did catch a nice smallmouth bass. Of course, we had several visits by other curious campers wondering what was inside that little trailer.

MK, now why would you think we were a couple of old hippies? ;)

Jack, we will get together sometime. Maybe we'll make your event next year. Side will be retired then and I might be too, so we see a lot of trips in the future.

Beautiful area for camping. Just don't ease off into the woods this time of year... it could be DANGEROUS!!! :o
