A few of us Ontarians got together last weekend for a small gathering at Warsaw Caves. Here are some of the pics.

I'm sorry I missed it. Scotty was not ready for camping and I have a offroad event this weekend, so all hands were on deck for final preparations. It looks like a very cool area. I will have to get there some day.
Thanks

Hey Miriam.. The caves..at least the only one a chicken$hit Claustraphobic like me would go in was more like a covered crevice . I expected more of a cavern, but I guess they are different. Some of the caves were quite big and you could go in quite far. They were basically formed when the limestone shifted and collapsed many years ago. I guess this area used to be an old riverbed because those "holes" are called Kettles... made when a stone gets caught in a whirlpool or eddy and goes round and round on the limestone floor, slowly carving a "kettle in the soft limestone. Can you imagine how long it took to make one of those?????? :?

That was a neat trip...I'm with you...I can do a wide open cave, but caves in general get too tight, too quick for my comfort!!!! Did I tell you I hate heights too?
