Burning Man

Postby Christina » Tue Sep 01, 2009 4:48 pm

I am off in about a day to take the Sunflower on her first trip to Burning Man. Pray I don't have to clean off TOO much dust. :worship:

Next year, I would love to have a teardrop theme camp, I seem to run into at least one out there every year. :R

Hi Christina, you make some pretty awesome videos. I hope you document Burning Man too so that I can live it vicariously through you. :worship:

Christina, don't know which way you are coming from, but we live in Lovelock, and although we won't be at the burn, we would love to see your tear close up if you pass through Pershing County, home of Burning man (as an funny aside, school opens tomorrow, they are remodeling all the bathrooms and aren't done yet, but we can't get porta pottys... cause they are all at Burning Man of course!) Think of the poor high school students in urinary distress when using the facilities at the Burn! If you see any EMTs from Pershing County, say "hi" I know them all. (Debbie the school nurse)

Hi Debbie and Randy!

I am in Reno, so I won't be going through Lovelock, but I will most likely be going to the Gathering of the Glyphs on the 18th-20th in Austin. I hope to see you there!

Funny about the potties. Yes, Reno has been wiped clean (no pun intended  ) by the Burners. No vegetarian food or bottled water to be found. LOL.

My friend is a nurse and she volunteers at the BM medical tent. She gets in free that way. She sees a lot of interesting things.

we have a wedding 2nd glyphs trip, but hope to be there for Thursday night then go on to Genoa on Friday. Have a good time at the burn, and hope to see you soon. We will look for your tear coming home from BM, we always have such fun cause we go camping (this time in no cal) over labor day and watch for burners going home on Sun and Mon.
