6 days on the road

After the Crawford III gathering

we packed up and headed south.

First stop was at Natural Falls State Park in Oklahoma.
Image

We continued south and spent the night at Winding Stair campground.

My buddy told me about Jefferson, Texas so we stopped and spent several hours. We enjoyed a kornbread sandwich at Kitt's. After browsing through many of the antique shops we stopped by the general store.
Image

Our next stop was a short visit at Caddo Lake State Park in Texas.
Image

We spent a couple nights at my buddy's place. We explored the area a bit and stopped by Lake Bistineau State Park.
Image

Heading north we stopped by Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Image

I've always wanted to stay at Petit Jean State Park in Arkansas, so we did. :)
The hike to cedar falls was worth it.

More photos are here.

Miriam, with the folks we camp with I think we could camp on a parking lot and have a fabulous time. :) I want to visit when it is full of water. I was impressed with the cabins and the group camp with the little cabins beyond the campground.

Mike, there are more on my fototime site. I'm glad you enjoyed them.

Sharon, thanks for visiting. We did have a great trip.

Perhaps, you could put a link to your fototime site in your signature block. Otherwise, I and others may not be able to find it. Actually, I haven't found it yet.

I added bold to it in my post above. I need to work on signature and not have too much going on. I'm also in transition on where I host my photos. :)

My old photos are at http://www.pbase.com/nnmo/ for now.

Thanks,
Nathan

You are welcome. Ever been to Jefferson, Texas and ate a kornbread sandwich at Kitt's? We really enjoyed wandering around the various shops and checking out the merchandise.
