Just got back...

Postby monkeyfingers4 » Fri Oct 29, 2010 8:19 am

We just got back from accompanying my 82-year old father-in-law on his fourth annual 220-mile bicycle ride across the great state of Missouri. He left from Clinton, Missouri and rode 90 miles the first day to Huntsdale. He rode 90 miles the second day to Peers, then on to St. Charles the fourth day, just a short 40 miles. About four of us took turns trading off riding 10-15 mile legs with him so he didn't have to ride by himself. We took our teardrop along and camped each night. It was a great family adventure and Gramps told us he plans to go at least until he's 85. Looking forward to next year!
We also went to Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in September for 8 days of camping, music and just good times with friends. We love our teardrop. It is so versatile and useful.
