Well, the trip went GREAT. I am very comfortable pulling the Gypsy Wagon (aka Little Guy Rascal) behind the corolla. For the most part we averaged 28 mpg, except for one stretch from New Bransfels, Tx to Port Aransas, Tx which we only averaged 19 mpg (there was a severe headwind). McKinney Falls State Park in Austin & Jude Rv & Travel Park were our favorites by far. McKinney Falls was beautiful and wooded yet close enough to do all our running around in town. We woke up one morning to a deer in our campsite. AWESOME! Jude Rv is VERY small, it is in town, about a 5-8 min cab/shuttle ride to the French Quarter, the owners are on site and it is gated at night. There are laundry facilities, Wifi, shuttle services (small fee $5 pp), pool and hot tub on site. VERY Nice people. All in all we didn't run into any snags, (except the extreme heat this summer)

We were excited to go and after approx 2000 miles, even more excited to get home.
We are thinking next year, we will leave earlier (May) and go north. Having the AC unit helped but still was really hot, even for site seeing.

Hope you checked out the website www.agirlsgottago.net.
