Big Horns, WY trip 2014 in the bag ...

Postby Bobcape » Sun Jul 27, 2014 1:04 am

It was another great trip to the Big Horn Mountains this year. The teardrop was very comfortable. Zero issues. My campsite is about 2 miles off of a Forest Service road. We had a lot of rain and a little snow the last week of June. It made it a little challenging pulling the trailer in. I'm glad I upgraded to the larger tires/wheels. I camped for 10 nights. Had several friends join me for some of those nights. I have made very few changes to my teardrop other than changing to LED lights. Still on the original battery. It lasted the entire trip using lights and the fan most nights.

I'm now pulling it with a 2013 Toyota Tacoma. When I put new tires on the Taco I did the nitrogen fill. I'm thinking about having my trailer tires filled with nitrogen. Theoretically it helps maintain a more stable pressure in wide temperature swings and when parked for a long time. Still very happy with my teardrop purchase.
