Thanks for posting the photos! ...Very enjoyable! :applause:

It looks like there are about twice as many tiny stand-up trailers as there are teardrops.
Would you like to speculate on why this trend seems to be happening in the AZ area?

Sorry to Dan and Mindy and the rest of the first timers. Seams like every other year is cold and sometimes rainy. Last year was warm and just perfect. Since it was a bit cold and really Saturday was bad and I lost control over the potluck because some were in a hurry to get there food and go back to there trailers. But we all had a good time and even I kayaked two of the days and it wasn't too bad. Hope we see everyone next year again if not I am sure I will see you at a gathering near you.
Cheers

Sharon I think some of us are getting older and some just get tired of fighting the elements. Teardrops are great to travel in and some are hard core campers. I think a few of us loved doing the teardrop thing but figured out it just not for us. Some just have one of each and brings out the the trailer for the occasion.

Sharon I can say for me with a cargo, I like the friendliness of the Az Teardrop group Eddie & Dona, Bud, Mike, Randy, Mrs Betty, Mrs Mary and everyone I have met at Buckskin Gathering they welcomed me just as I am. I love to cook in my DO's and feed people I share my food with anyone I can. hope when we meet you will welcome me as this group has.

Back home to the icebox up north in Utah with snow. We had a great time at Buckskin and are looking forward to next year. A huge thank you to Eddie and Arizona Roundup for the gathering and to Eddie and Jim for the pictures.

Well, it seems that Eddie is right, lately Buckskin has been one on and one off as far as weather. Mo and I were set to go in 2011 and it was snowing in Kingman the morning of departure so, no depture. The next year, we were set to go and work got ugly and I had to stay. That year the weather was great. This year we got to go and it was cooler than normal but still a lot of fun and lot's of people enjoying the campground.
So next year should be great and we already have a reservation and I am going to put in for the time off at the first of the year, so there shouldn't be any holdups. Now I just need to figure out where I want to camp between now and the Spring Clean. I am thinking somewhere warm, eh?
