Quick overnighter to a desert lake.

Postby desertmoose » Tue Mar 11, 2014 10:20 am

We've been remodeling a room in the house. At the putting floor tile down stage. After several days of crawling around the floor doing that, we thought we needed a break.

Took the tear to Walker Lake. Had the whole beach to ourselves.

Miss Kat fixing breakfast. sausage, eggs, taters and toast.

Was a bit cool, with a chilly breeze and overcast. Fire on Saturday night with toasted marshmallows was real nice though. Here's Sunday morning. Needed a coat for sure.

It looks like you've got your setup just the way you want it and that it works well.
...An interesting place to camp. I'll bet you can see for miles in any direction!
Thanks for sharing. :applause:

PS. Hey, you two! I don't see that paper towel holder that you were going to make and put up.

Good eyes!!!
You're right... the paper towel holder got put on the back burner.. Remodeling the old pool room into Kat's sewing studio took precedence.... :D
