Hello all and hope all is well. The wife and I finally made our most excellent vacation. We had a chance to visit 24 states in 26 days and 8300 miles later made it home in SC. We had a blast in our tee tiny trailer. It would take way too much time to tell our story on here, so I do have a link to a blog I started to retrace our travels. http://mostexcellentvaction.wordpress.com/ is the link if anyone is interested. Take care all and happy camping to all.

Boy that was an "Excellent Adventure". How fast were you going when you took all the pictures? I can't believe you ever stopped moving?

Hahaha....It was hard keeping the sights in focus...actually we had a fair amount of time. I think our average miles per day was abt 320 miles. We didn't do that every day though. When we left St. Louis, MO. I was ready to get home. We drove straight through that day..right at 800 miles that day and night..:)

Looks like a great trip and some great photos to go along with it.

Looking forward to reading your next post about the return trip home.

You did what I dream of doing.... One day!

Great work, and good luck on your next trip!

We did have a great time. I guess it was a "most excellent vacation". Gun..if you get a chance, you do need to take a trip out west. We thought we had Mountains here, but trust me..they are just hills compared to the ones I saw...Oooops, drove through..:)

Thanks for checking it out Sharon. Guess I will have to pull out my "notebook" and get the last part done.

Loving the report, but the last part I read was when you all were getting to California. Is there more and I am missing it?
I told my hubby this is how we are going to do it next year! (I say this every year though  )

Hopefully I will find a little time to write the Part 2 this weekend. If I don't do it tonight, it will have to wait until Thursday..off to Myrtle Beach Sunday-Wednesday. Going to take the grandkids to Pirateland campground. You will have a great time...don't put it off too long.
