We headed out on Thursday for a less then 10 mile road trip to Flowing Lake's Leckies Beach for the first run with the New Pickup! all went well and had a lot of Fun at the Lake, we had really warm weather in Western Washington for this time of year... the grand kids even swam in the lake most the day!! Decent place to say, although you can see the budget cuts in Snohomish County have hurt... we didn't see a ranger until 4:30 in the afternoons, even on the weekend... The Camp Hosts sign said unavailable the whole time we were there... no site of the caretakers.... most the sites are online reservations, but a few walk ups... but no signs or people to tell people looking for a camping spot what to do..... we stayed here a couple of times last year also, it was definitely better....

Thanks for sharing, we are still a couple of weeks (till the end of school) off from being able to venture forth. Plus My car is getting a new transmission and CR is in the shop getting a rood leak fixed

Thanks!! It makes the camping twice the fun!! we are heading to Jackson Lake in Wyoming next month!! we are trying to decide if we should haul the big kayak along with the smaller ones!!
