Found a nice page with good information and a version of the Charcoal Calculator with tempuratures shown in Ferhenheit...

conversion calculator...I just can't come up with the mathematical way I used to do it...can't remember to + or - the 32....but physics class was a long time ago..Doug

For those who need the formula from my Chemistry Class

Fahrenheit(F) to Celcius(C) C=(F-32)x 5/9

Celcuis to Fahrenheit F= (C x 9/5) + 32

I found this converter a long time ago, its a small free program I keep on my desktop and it will convert just about anything.

Just wanted to let you all know, there is an app for that! If you have a smart phone there is an app called Dutch Oven Calculator which is :thumbsup: FREE for the Android Market

UNFORTUNATELY There is NOT an app available for Iphone, Ipod Touch, IPad :thumbdown:

Is it just me or is there is just something really wrong about computer apps to run a dutch oven ? :lol: :lol:

Dutch Oven Helper at the Apple App Store has the same information for iStuff. It is FREE as well.

We still use the 3 up and 2 down method we learned at the IRG Dutch Oven Seminar. Here's the first time we used a DO after we got back:
