Some have mentioned that they would like to tour the Lodge Manufacturing
facility. So my thoughts ran to when could one go see their facility? Knowing
that some of us might enjoy going to see them.

I am wondering if your company gives any tours of your manufacturing facilities?

Steve,

Tours are only given one time a year. It is during our National
Cornbread Festival which is held the last weekend in April. We have a
factory outlet store you can visit, open 7 days a week.

The visit to the outlet store is wonderful. They have one of everything at slightly discounted prices. The also have a room with seconds. that's where I got my 12 inch oven. It has a couple of very small bubble holes on the bottom that in no way affect use. It was a bit cheaper than the perfect ones. I also bought the table. About $50 cheaper than the catalog and no shipping. The thing weighs about 40 lbs. Also got lids for skillets. If you are near Chattanuga, TN and love cast iron this is a must visit.
