http://www.campmor.com/rome-dog-n-brat-cornbread-cooker.shtml

Looks to me like a tiny nick with a grinder in both sides of each
compartment would accomidate a wooden kabob stick. It
would hold the brat.,dog, or whatever off of the surface
enough to allow the cornmeal shell to form all the way around.
Growing older but not up !

That looks like it would work just fine. Plus, I have not used sticks in any of mine yet. Finger food!!!

I'm gonna order one of those! I was thinking the same thing about making a notch for the sticks.

Thanks for the tip, I've been looking for one as a gift, so I guess I'll watch and see what this one does. If a forum member is bidding, say so please.

Gall dang it! I'm the high bidder on that puppy. Been looking for one in the wild for a few years now. Gave up and keep getting sniped at the last minute.

I think Dawn did actually get it. I didn't jump into this one as I didn't want to yank it out from a forum member. I already have one, but will keep looking for another as a gift for my daughter.
Dawn, was it you?

Dang it! Someone sniped it at the last second. :( You would think that they were made in Wisconsin that I would see them all over. I have never seen one in the wild. Guess I will have to keep looking.

Waffle dog on eBay

Postby vladadog » Wed Nov 16, 2011 5:52 am

I have put one of my waffle dog irons up on eBay as part of a fundraiser for National English Shepherd Rescue (nesr.info). It is at:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0624889185

If anyone from T&TTT wins the auction I'll give you a 10% rebate. It doesn't have the book or box but it is in very good shape!
