Hey Dougie,
W did look for the lights, It is pretty dense forest where we were and didnt see them on Fri/Sat. but some of the local folks from CJ said they'd had a peek. The Sam Brown campground is really nice and SO QUIET at night.

Doug,
I got to shoot some video of Joanie doing a Joe's Special in a skillet...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csJCPpkmct0
Yaa... Some phone nut, always runnin' around thumpin' on his chest, calling himself 'The Protecter'... I dunno, didn't catch his name... Took tons of pics.
The thought of walking over to the meadow to see if I could see the Northern Lights, did cross my mind each night, but I was too damned stuffed from all the great food and could only sit around the campfire listening to all the stories they tell about Californians.
Guy & his son Adam made a day jaunt over from Applegate to visit too, gave me a heads up on new great dessert he'll be doing at August Moon.
I'll be trying it out myself next weekend at A.W. Way with the FDOS crowd!!!
Thank You Kay for putting on such a great gathering and your lemmon cake was fabulous!!!

Home from another Fabulous Jefferson State gathering :applause: It was one year ago on Saturday that I took my teardrop to Applegate lake for my first gathering where I met some of the coolest people on earth. Thank you to ALL of you for sharing this past weekend with me celebrating 1 year of Teardropping
I still had my "Welcome Newbie" sign Joanie used while T Ping my teardrop from last year.....so I initiated Tyrel and Shannon on Saturday passing along the Newbie sign. I didn't get a pic before they cleaned it all up....hopefully they'll post one.
Jefferson State welcomed their newest member Eric from Medford Oregon....He heard about the gathering.....came on up....and had a great time....He especially loved ALL THE FOOD :? He has built 6 teardrops and you'll find a pic or 2 of his latest in my Picasa album Sam Brown.
I personally don't think this gathering could have been any better. We had nine trailers... The weather was perfect....the food, to DIE FOR....the swimmin' hole, awesome.....the trails, majestic.....the company, Priceless 8)
I'm so bummed I forgot the group picture  I guess 1 thing could be better.
Russ, Rita(aka Govenor)...Ron and Olga and the family...Eunice....Dean and Joanie...Eric, Tyrel and Shannon, Guy and Adam....Lori and John....and last but definitely not the least, Grant 8) ....Thank you for sharing the best year of my life.

I've put my pics on my Picasa album http://picasaweb.google.com/10097363015 ... directlink

See y

Deano-

I know the lines between the two boards get blurry sometimes...

As a TearJerkers Admin. I gotta tell ya...

You can bestow... Only Todd can approve....

You, Kay & Eunice need to get TOGETHER on this in HIS sandbox.

Timing & communication are everything.

Cheers,

Coop

Kay's BEST photo, IMO, is the one of the coronation of The Mayor of Applegate Lake (lol)
