Hey seriously - what about that? I've been wondering about the noise factor and other campers? Is this kosher to do? Do we own the joint as far as reservations?

It is a closed event, just us teardropers, so be aware when picking out your campsite that we will make some noise in the meadow on movie night.

Many miles and many tears. Times were hard but now they're changing.

So when Susan Sarandon is on the screen like this, don't think you can jump up on my shoulders....

WHY would I do THAT? Dude. You're not her.

dhazzard, Moviemeister,

I suggest the movie:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It%27s_a_Mad,_Mad,_Mad,_Mad_World

Jonathan Winter is beyond hilarious and it has the *real* Three Stooges (Moe, Larry, and Curly Joe) as airport firemen, instead of three of our guys dressed up like Klansmen BBQ cooks.

Prem

Ahh, I see you are an amateur my friend. One of the uninitiated... or should I just call you "Brad".

You jump up on your buddy's shoulders so that you can be tall enough to reach the movie screen by extending your arms... and cop a feel.

Hey, I've been to that movie with my girlfriend on Halloween at midnight! Besides, I was never stoned, so I knew that Susan was a MERE IMAGE on the screen.

I'm taller than Susan...and she looks better half clothed.

Jesus, who said anything about being stoned Brad? It's all in fun... did you have any? There are rituals that the movie has attained over the years ya know?? That's one of them.

Dan...I've got some WC fields, Marx Bros. (not real long) and Stooges, also Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, mindless fun stuff. Or how about any of the Beach Party movies with Anette and Frankie, or Smokey and the Bandit?

I'd be willing to bet that after the Long Long Trailer, that people will be ready to hit the tear however. Let's make sure we have a good copy of Long Trailer this time....I dunno....Rocky Horror was fine in college...but some people are going to have their families there, just don't know if the demographics will make it a hit....just my opinion. Yeah, I got pulled into a partial quote from my original post... but that's actually what I said too. I agree.

I think the Rocky Horror Picture Show has just ruled itself out in the voting with this sneak preview... or memory lane reminder I should say. 8)

I was just throwing RHPS out as an Idea. What I want to do is get a list that we can do a vote on. Last night I did order a copy of The Log, Long Trailer to make sure I have a copy that will play. Please keep the ideas coming.

Well, having done this before....if The Long Long Trailer is the main feature and it's a double feature, the 2nd one needs to be something fairly short, and I'd imagine nothing "heavy". Schindlers List is right out! You gotta remember...this group is going to be from the teens to the 70's or thereabouts. There is nothing more pitiful that a crowd of Rocky Horror fans all dressed up and no one to show off to! I just think it needs to be something that most people can relate to and enjoy, have some fun with and some chuckles. Again...just my opinion. Doug
