Looks like a great trip!

The little Colman heater keep the awning warm? I have one and it doesn't do much outside.

no. we didnt really use the small heater. It is brand new. We got it to take the chill off inside the teardrop but we tried the new 12 volt blanket instead.
In the tent we used a patio heater hooked to a 5 gallon fuel tank. The heater is about 4' tall. It worked great! This is a picture of it at the 2009 DAM gathering. The dogs love it.

Thanks!

I have a bigger heater about the size of yours and it works great, even with only one or two sides on the easyup. I was just wondering if I needed to start packing the little one again. but it might just take up space.

Haven't needed a heater in the tear, the colder it gets the closer we sleep! Got down to 24 in Death Valley 2 years ago, and about that during the trip we took my avatar pic on. Three wool blankets, a thick fiberfill comforter, and 6 inches of foam and pillowtop do the trick.

Looks like you all had a "cool" time...more white stuff than when we camped their last. On your fenders...Was there any primer on them as it doesn't appear that any is showing? And what was the type of paint? Doug

Hey ...

... I didn't want to chain up just to move the car & trailer 15 feet! My back is still trash, and they wouldn't let me do any shoveling or pushing, so what is a guy supposed to do except steer ... ...? It's really a good thing that I didn't drive the wagon up! I barely got out of the parking lot at Eskimo Hill on Christmas Day when I took Lisa up to ride her sled! All that makes me wish my Ranger 4X4 was still on the road ... :( ...!

Chilly CHEERS!
