Dam Gathering April 29-May 2, 2010

That area of Southern Oregon and Northern California. (Ask Dean!) Includes Jefferson State Tearjerkers

Postby rainjer » Fri Apr 30, 2010 10:53 pm

Man I wish I was there right now.

I really enjoy seeing the "south west" crowd once a year. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to make any treks to California this year. "Life" is just not cooperating this year.

I hope every has a nice, dry gathering.

Hey! I understand it's going to be maybe 70-something degrees up there today! :Flippin Burger: :relaxing:

If you're checking in, please tell everyone that my Flexiride half-axles are here, my e-trailer order shipped two days ago and that I have a final profile shape ready to hack from some real wood!

:woohoo:

Thinking of all of you (I've seen pics from as far back as the 3rd Dam Gathering where my buddy Thawley got married! I wanna get those two back into a Benroy!) and I'll see you at the IRG!

:campfire:

Wow, now I'm really mad I missed this weekend. That video sure makes me hungry. Would have loved to have been at the Dam but instead took my Mom to a friend of hers 90th birthday party. My Mom will be 88 on Thurs and she really wanted to attend the party.

Gathering Gurus

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Mon May 03, 2010 3:43 pm

8) Thanks to our hosts and event organizers for holding the DAM gathering. It was wonderful to connect with friends and meet some new ones. I am so happy that we had GOOD weather this time, and got to actually get around from site to site.

A Special THANKS to Grant and Lisa and helpers for organizing the 17th Dam Gathering. The event, weather, food, activities, and especially the teardroppers were outstanding. The Seafood Chowder was unbelievably good and I rarely eat seafood. Thanks to all!

We had a great time & I did'nt even need to put on my scubba gear.
It was nice to seeing everyone & we hope that you all had a safe journey home.

We are still on the road.
Sunday night we stayed at Swimmers Delight right next to Pamplin Grove the home of the IRG 3.0, Kevin We tried to get online to invite you folks from Eurica for Monday morning Dutch Oven Pancakes & Bacon & Eggs, But we could not get a signal :(

Monday night we stayed at Half Moon State Park on the beach.

Tonight (Tues ) We are staying at Morro Bay State Park.
I will try to send John a PM to let him know that we are hear.

We most likely will stay in Pismo Beach tomarow ???

Can't wait to see everyone at the IRG.

I will get some pictures online as soon as we get home,
(Possibly sooner)

Thanks to the Highways & Byways & our National & State Parks,What a beautiful Country we live in.
