Our lovely keepsakes from the IRG

It has taken awhile to get these back from the framer but they were so worth the wait. It was our great pleasure to camp next to Blumie at the IRG and get to know them a bit. Besides baking delicious pies they are both extremely talented painters. When they donated the beautiful watercolor of the teardrops in the redwoods to the raffle I wanted to win that one so bad I put every one of my tickets in the little bag and it worked! Boy, did I feel LUCKY. On the last day of the IRG, much to my great surprise, they gave us a VERY special painting of our little trailer. It brought tears to my eyes....in a very good way. I wanted to share their talent and generousity with all who may not have gotten to see these wonderful little paintings. Thank you does not seem like enough.

I could tell it was your treadrop by the tie-dyed accents.
Those are beautiful paintings... Really puts the relationship of a redwood tree and a teardrop into perspective.
