So, Guy ...

... have you found the map for Jefferson State from January 1854 ...? If you really want to split hairs, you need to start there ... ;)

Dear Grant,

No I have not found that early a map.

I would love to see one dating back that early...That would be fun.

What I don't find as enjoyable is the map being promulgated by the "Patriot" Extremists that Kay, unwittingly, copied and posted here. Anything promoted by those folk I personally recoil from. I am certain Kay was unaware of those behind that site.

The reason I used that particular map was the ease of reading it...It is the exact same map I also saw on Jeffersonstate.com wasn't as detailed.

It's not that we don't care, Bruce. It's that we don't know. Maybe your original post got lost in electronic never-never land. Try PMing him again and see what happens.

Anyway, it's off-subject for this thread. There's no Alaska in Jefferson State. That would be a much bigger map! :lol:
