Time to vie for Pamplin Grove...

Postby Dean in Eureka, CA » Wed Dec 21, 2011 9:24 am

We'll be camped out at the local public works department between Christmas and New Years in hopes of securing the dates we want for IRG4.0 in July 2012.
If you can, come join us for this unique festive event.

If we can't be with you in person, we'll certainly be with you in spirit ... hoping you stay warm (we KNOW you'll be well fed ... ...), and we're confident you'll secure the dates you want!

Looking forward to another GREAT! IRG ... :applause: ...!

Hi Dean, this is Jane here---
What days are you attempting to get for IRG? I need to get my request in ASAP - some people at work are cheating and putting in vacation requests now, instead of waiting for January as we are supposed to. Because of that, I thought I'd fill out my request now also, with the idea that I can change it if needed.
We really appreciate all your efforts, wish we could camp out in line with you. ImageJane

I will be thinking of you guys waiting out there in the cold, and likely damp, all for our benefit. Thanks in advance. I'm keeping July open except for a family commitment the first week. Good luck, we appreciate your dedication.

I will check the PG web site on the first so we can start planning.

Looking for new up dates on the logo no pressure just planting a thought. I should be able to do buttons again.

I am already looking for prizes for the ticket draw at the end.

Oh ya Christmas got to look for presents too

Hope they do not think you are protesters. The Teardrop Party ...
they will wonder what is really in those black pots .... so you better bring some extra forks and spoons and plates so you will be welcomed back next time. :R it may be better to just eat spam, a truly American food.
And don't forget your protest signs :ilovecamp:

Even thought we will not be there in body we will be in spirit.

mmmm waffels every morning if you were just a little bit closer.

Worked in semi for 13yrs, kinda got spoiled. We moved for my wife's job, not too many fabs here. A buddy left our fab and went to work at Maxim in San Antonio because it was a shorter commute. He ended up coming back though.

My daughter spent five months in Portland in 2010. She is a Chem Eng. for Intel and was transferred up there for a fab. My wife went up the three different times to visit. She really fell in love with the Portland area during that time.

But on to my real question; is Pamplin Grove so popular that a fellow needs to camp out there early to get a reservation? Wow.
