IRG Cell Phone Coverage

I know that cell phone coverage is not good in the trees, but does anyone have any expierence with the meadow?

No cell phone coverage in Pamplin Grove, you'll need to drive back in to Carlotta or Hydesville to call out. I'm pretty sure there is a pay phone at Swimmers Delight, the next campground heading east.

thanks, just need to know where to place the "I got here" call to the hubby when I get there, he gets cranky when I drop off the grid without saying where I am and when I got there.

Yep we'd take a drive to Hydesville to make calls. It's not that far, plus you can stock up on some supplies at the gas station.
