Wolf Creek campa's

Postby doug hodder » Sun Aug 26, 2012 8:53 pm

I bought up a group campsite for 6 days, invited a bunch of friends and we had a camp out. Split the fees amongst everyone attending, it works out to be less than 50% of regular forest service camping. It's completely unorganized, by choice. "Here's the days...show up and camp". The only thing sort of organized is group eats on Sat. night. That way, you can do all the stuff that you wanted to do at all the other gatherings, but didn't get the chance to. Sit around, read a book, go swimming, hike, nap or goof off. What's nice is we all know each other, it's just us, no public for the most part other than an errant drive through and no tours need to be given. It seems to work as it's always full for the next one before it ends. Thanks everyone that was there...I sincerely hope you had a great time. "El Hefe"

Wow!! Looks like it was a lot of fun. Wish we could have been there. Wait!!! The spouse person says we were there!!! I guess the sake bombs and Irish whiskey tastings must be responsible for some kind of memory loss??? Hope we get another chance at learning some native " 'Merkin Indian" naming lore as well as ladder ball, qwirckle and " Hoderville homilies". :applause: :wine: :wacky :campfire:
