We'll be having a wine and beer tasting http://damgatheringofthetears.weebly.com/activities.html on Thursday evening around 6pm. How many of you are planning to attend this? We want to be sure to have enough supplies, so please let us know if there is a chance you're over 21 and will be participating. :wine:
Thanks!

I'm in, but I'll be bringing and drinking beer. What are you doing for wine glasses? Do we need separate beer glasses?

I expect to bring 3 kegs (5 gal ea) of homebrew, IPA, DAM Red Ale, and Dark Mild Ale.

Hey Grant

Well I think I registered today. I did not see an actual button labeled “Paypal” at the bottom of the page, just
a “donate” one. The Donate button did take me to paypal so hope that is right. Hopefully that was is and not
just donating for Lil’ Near web page. Ha hahah Let me know if that is not right so I can get it corrected.
Registered name is under Terry Powell.

I’ll be in CA visiting old friends the end of April and they are 3 hours south of the gathering.

Beer Tasting. Oh my. All these years I have been doing it wrong. I thought you were supposed to just drink the bear.
Count me in for sampling the home brews. I’m not that much of a Wine-o

I will be driving up 101 to 80 to 505 to 5.
I want to camp some where above bay area I do not wish to drive straight through.

I have sayed at KOA's in the past but was in the hopes that I could find other places.

Where are you camping on your way up?

Any suggestions could meet and do a convoy up to shasta?

Hey, Ron!

Look into Lake Solano County Park Campgrounds just a couple miles west of Winters, CA, and just off of County Road 128 (the road to Lake Barryessa) at Pleasant Valley Road ... https://admin.solanocounty.com:4433/civ ... obid=14475 ... I've stayed there a number of times and just love it! Take a site on the lower loop, down along side Putah Creek/Solano Lake. The wildlife includes peafowl and the biggest grey squirrels you ever saw, along with a variety of ducks & geese ... very quiet and very pleasant, you won't be sorry!

Re: the Adult Beverage Social ... you should bring your own drinking vessel, and if you've got cheese, bread, crackers, beer nuts, or what ever, all the better, eh what, Rob & Caryn ... ...?

Hi Rob,
I am planning on coming to the social and volunteer to be the designated walker for those who may need assistance returning to their campsite. Dean and I don't drink alcohol, but we'll bring something to guzzle. We may have a couple of friends arriving early for the wedding and I'll let them know what to bring.
See ya soon,
TDN

Designated walker, I love it TDN! You don't have to drink to have fun at the Dam, thats for sure! We can toast your upcoming nuptials. Im sure rob and caryns plan is for tasting, and not guzzling, but good to know there will be a "support" person! :)).

You are very correct, we plan to taste and chat and eat and taste a bit more with a bit of fun thrown in. Please bring a bottle of wine or brew from your favorite place or where you live and your favorite appetizer to share. We are planning a very MELLOW event so please leave you beer bongs at home. :D

We will be bringing some of my son's home brew, in honor of my father who manufactured roulette wheels for many years. If you are on Facebook you can check out Roulette Brewing here.
