"Like New" 'semi recumbent' Revive LX

Postby Ned B » Fri Apr 14, 2017 7:39 pm

I went out & splurged on a nearly new condition Giant Revive LX.
I didn't get a photo before the sun went down after I got home . I took a short ride as soon as I got it unloaded.

According to the shop, he sold it when new, and bought I back from the wife of the first owner. They had his & hers, and sold both of them back... the shop said extremely gently used.

This is my attempt to get off of the couch... so far so fun. I'll get pics of me on it later.

Winter has returned... so I've only been out on it a couple of times... temps are supposed to climb this week though.

The few times I've ridden it, my skills are returning after 30 some odd years. I'll post some canal side photos in a couple of days

That looks pretty comfortable and less intimidating than a full recumbent.

Enjoy

Thanks! I'm reaaaally rusty, and in shape... Round is a shape, right?

Put the bike on my new Hybrid & toted it over to the historic Erie Canal trail. Image

Took it easy, but got 3 miles in along the canal. Image

I need to get two more straps for the rack, the 'bent has a thick rectangular chassis tube, and the Bell rack only has these Velcro straps for conventional bikes.

Had a nice ride though!

How is the bike holding up Ned. Got your legs in shape ? I have a 2 wheel and a trike. Have fallen in love with my Cat trike :)

I'm doing ok, the bike is great! Still a long ways to go, but the weight went on slowly...
