OLD CLUBMAN

Postby the don » Wed Jun 23, 2010 8:08 am

I recently came across a Clubman bike and it has:
1) Made in Austria on plate in front
2)On sprocket #4121587
3)Plate on Frame - MADE IN GERMANY--E56E--LIZENZ--PIETSCHER
4)27" WHEELS -MADE IN GERMANY-- SCHiiRMANN.
Was wondering where/when made and any value.
I am moving and want to know if I should keep it or sell it.
Thx, Don

a photo would help a lot.

I did search..

so far I do not find a brand by that name. There are brands that have clubmans as one of their models

Raleigh, Puch, and Steyr. each made Clubmans. Is there another name on it?

From what you say.. the plate on the frame says made in Austria. With that I would say it is a safe bet it is not a Raleigh. Puch is Austrian .

hmm I was just re-reading.. you say on the frame is says made in Germany... where is the plate?
