Hello out there! Where are all you ladies?? I miss hearing your adventures, daily life trials and just stuff. I sold my Teardrop quite a while back - bought 2 vintage Scotty's and sold them and most recently bought a 23' 1967 Mallard trailer. I'm loving life!

Hello from southern Missouri!

I'm a 24 year old starting my first teardrop build based off of the angular more "off-road" style models. I've grouped together some help from my father, my fiance, and my soon to be father-in-law, with myself doing 99% of the design and build.

I started on a heavy duty Harbor Freight (capacity: 1750 lbs) trailer, which I understand some frown upon, but it was quick, easy, and relatively painless. I've sandwiched together most of my floor so far, and am eager to start on the walls.

I appreciate the advice and support this forum gives me on a daily basis.

Welcome aboard! When you get a chance, post some pictures of your progress. One thing this group loves are pictures and stories about the build. Also, the journeys once you get to camping. Best of luck! :)

Hi Ladies! I'm a newbie and so psyched to learn from all of you. I don't have anything to show off yet. I'm hoping to build a Tiny Trailer I can live part time in. In my head it looks a lot like a shepherd's wagon but out of foam since I'll be towing it with my Subie. Right now I spend more time reigning in my ambitions to meet back up with what I think I can afford and actually accomplish but dreaming big is half the fun. I can't wait to get out and go on adventures!

Here's an update! Got my walls up. This is really kicking us into gear about getting this thing done. It's going good so far, minus a few hiccups along the way. Image

My Covid Sanity Project

Postby chelle3271 » Fri Jul 10, 2020 11:43 pm

Hi, all! I've been dreaming of this in one way or another for a long time! Glad I found an online community for all the help I am going to need in order to get this done!

My plan is more of a square drop, but I'm excited to get started. I managed to find windows super cheap, so this drop is going to have a LOT of light, and it'll have a skylight so I can do some stargazing. :D

Are any of you on the east coast? I'm in PA.

Hello! My name is Amanda and I am so excited to get my first tear drop camper! I literally got it last night. Its in rough shape so I am going to be fixing it up. I am nervous because I have never tackled something like this before! But I am so glad someone told me about this page!! Here's a pic of what I have named "Liberty". She's a tiny beauty!!

8) Lots of newbies signing in.....so glad you made the effort(s) to post and not just lurk. We have a wonderful community of campers here with good advice and recommendations. If you are starting a build, you are sure to find help here. If you want to know about places to camp (with or without a TD) or gatherings to attend, please ask and we can share some of our favorites. And we always have food/recipes to share. Happy trails to you all.
