I'm new to this site and just love it. As soon as the weather gets warmer I am going to begin my Teardrop build. I've gotten so much info so far that I really don't need any plans although I did buy two which was useless. A quick question. How do you access the smilies? All codes below the smiles say on except flash is off. I haven't a clue what that means. HELP! Barbara

Hi Barbara and welcome! The smilies should show up on the far right hand side when you are typing. You can then click on "View More Smiles" which is located right under the smilies. I hope that works for you...if not, let us know and we can get an admin to help.

Thanks for the info Becky. When I click on a smiley, all that happens is I get a link to tntt.com and no smiley. Very frustrating. Like I previously mentioned, below the more smilies are codes, BBCode is ON, (img) is on(flash) is off (url) is on, Smilies are On. Could is be something connectd to (flash) is OFF? Thanks for your help.Barbara

Hi Barbara,

When I go to the User Control Panel here's what I see:

Start at: User Control Panel

Go to: Edit Display Options

Select: Board Preferences

The first 5 radio buttons all say "Yes" they are:

Display images within posts:
Display Flash animations:
Display smilies as images:
Display signatures:
Display avatars:

Hope this helps!

Hi Stacie, Thanks for the info. Still unable to do anything connected to the smilies. When I click on the control panel I don't see anything you see. Nada I do not have edit display options at all. Ever since I joined this site I have been having trouble. Very discouraging to say the least and getting on my nerves. Again, appreciate your input and help. I think I am now going to e-mail Mike. Have a great weekend and may the Sun God's shine down upon you.
This is what I get when I click on a smilie.  or posting.php?mode=reply&f=47&t=14863#

What do you see when you click on the "User Control Panel" link (to the left under the photo in the masthead of the page)?

Hello from Kansas

My 4-wide, Little Guy travel trailer is in production in Ohio. My little teardrop is a bare bones, cargo unit. It will have two doors, vent and a back hatch. I decided not to add a kitchen in the back. I plan on adding a screen room extension. I am sure it will be tricked out in no time! It has so much potential!

Welcome Jan! You must be so excited!

Your post made me laugh because I started my quest considering the Little Guy Rascal. Then I thought I wanted something larger than 4'x6' so I considered a custom trailer from Vacations in a Can. But theirs were too heavy for my car to tow. Then I watched forums, eBay and Craigslist for months looking for something vintage to buy before deciding I should design and build my own tiny trailer. I even took a welding and metal shop class  That's when I met Fred here on the forum and convinced him to let me hire him to build The Glampette for me. And it all began with a Little Guy Rascal.

Looking forward to see how you customize your trailer. It's exciting when they're a blank canvas and anything is possible.

Welcome Jan (and Stacie too). This whole teardrop thing is a kick in the pants isn't it ?!?!?! Decorating them and making them our own is so much fun. They almost start to take on our personality after a while.

Enjoy your teardrops and I hope to run into both of you out there in the wild.
