Lady Tear Droppers, drop in and say "Hello"!

This is where the gals can have their very own discussions...

Postby flygal6 » Thu Sep 20, 2007 11:09 pm

Hey you all... I just uploaded a slew of new pics to my album with some of the highlights from this past weekend's campout. I attended the Fall Rally for the Tin Can Tourists group. We had about 70 trailers/RVs in attendence. Most were vintage. There were 4 teardroppers there. Saturday they had a swap meet/ flea market of sorts to buy and sell vintage and homemade stuff, crafts etc. At the same time it was open house so everyone could come and view and show off each others trailers. As you can see by the pics.....some of the vintage decor was extraordinary! It was very very neat and lots of nice people. Everyone very accepting of all makes and models. It was great getting so many great comments about my little teardrop from some of those big RV folks!
And to visit a previous topic of the shower curtain privacy room, yes it works....however it was so windy on Friday when I set it up, my tush would have been blowing in the breeze with the curtains (not a pretty sight), so I took it down. Will be tweaking a few more things on my next trip and if all goes well I will take pics for everyone then. Maybe I will have curtains by then too.

Jeanette: Love the foot hatch and also your trailer....beautiful!

Sam: The Turtle is looking great. Now that you have your theme I keep seeing turtle stuff everywhere. LOL

Cajun Lady: This is what the little door is for!
For real. That's the foot-end of my son's bunk. When he grows longer than 5' (the width of the trailer), I'll make a little foot box to give him some extra leg room. Actually, there's a little door on the other side at the bottom of the galley, and that one is for AC 8)

Jeanette, what adoralbe little feet sticking out of that door! What a great idea! I am in awe of so many of you for coming up with such cool ways to make your Tear's more original. I assume you know that door is his little escape hatch too. You'll never know he was gone until you see his little dirty feet the next morning.

Sam, the turtle is a cool gal! Keep up the great work and keep those pics coming.

Have a great weekend ladies.

MK:

Yes and I am soooooo glad you said that. I noticed you posted on the thread that CD started about "guns at a gathering". Whew!!!! Those guys comments got hot and heavy. I decided to keep my 2 cents worth to myself and sneek out alive and unharmed before guns were drawn!
